Happy December and best wishes to you and your families during this wonderful time of year!
As we approach the end of 2018, I’d like to take this opportunity to begin what’s most important – people. You and so many others enable us at Bay Tek to continue to be successful and share in our success with others.
As a Bay Tek Family, we are truly grateful to you – our customers, suppliers, owners, industry partners, fellow Bay Tekkers, and Village Teammates.We remain committed to serve the communities in which we work and play. In 2018, our Bay Tek family members continue to serve the community in so many great ways. In 2018, we will have donated and served over 250 organizations to make a difference and that’s really cool!
Market demand for the fun and profit we aim to provide to the market remains extremely strong. In order to meet that demand, we’ve made a significant investment in additional production capacity. I’m extremely proud of the Bay Tek Team who has done an excellent job balancing the first priority of serving our customers while also expanding our manufacturing capabilities. Our first production phase launched on time in June and improvements continue. We are set up well for continued growth.
Great games are the lifeblood of the market and our business. We have been delighted by the outstanding response we’ve received for our two newest games, Connect 4 Hoops which debuted at Bowl Expo and most recently the launch of Willy Crash. Both received a great response at IAAPA. In fact, Connect 4 Hoops was featured on The Ellen Show. If you haven’t seen it, you can watch it here.
Strong brands including Skee-Ball, Big Bass, and newly launched GamerGreen continue to make smiles in multiple places of play. To better represent what we do for our valued consumers and customers, at this year’s IAAPA we announced our name change to Bay Tek Entertainment! We are excited to have our name reflect our line of fun beyond games. We continue to remain committed to entertain and serve you, including bringing great games to market.
As a result of our positive impact we continue to have on the communities as well as our unique cultural values of Fun, Innovation, Leadership, Trust, Excellence, and Respect, in Q4 we were nominated for an award of Excellence in Manufacturing awarded by The Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce.
We wish to thank our Village of Companies, Suppliers, Customers, and friends who enable us to love what we do – putting passion in and bringing the fun out.
In 2018, our owner Larry Treankler was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, presented by the AAMA. Larry, his brother Carl, and parents established a wonderful foundation which continues to serve us today and into the future. The award recognizes Larry for all he has done to touch lives and make an amazing difference within our industry and so many Bay Tekkers and communities. Thank you Larry. And thank you Mel, Mary Ann, and Carl!
I am grateful to the entire Bay Tek Family. Their commitment to serve and be uniquely different has served others well this year and sets us up for a great ’19 and years ahead.
